After taking lessons from a few instructors and giving up due to not feeling they were giving me the confidence I needed, Brother Taruq was recommended. I must say it took a while but I never felt like giving up. He gave me hope that I will pass and of course had the patience of putting up with me I would very much recommend him to anyone.

Brilliant driving instructor, very patient and accommodating. Has a knack for simplifying what I found to be complicated manoeuvres - always kept me calm and collected especially as I was quite a nervous driver but Brother Taruq cured this! Probably the best driving instructor in the Midlands and surrounding areas. Highly recommended! (Also has impressive collection of driving puns) 🙂

An excellent driving instructor, very thorough, calm, very good explanations and most importantly very fun to drive with. Taruq provides very good professional written explanations for all the manouvers and test. I was very pleased with the wonderful lessons and allowed me to pass my test. Taruq is very competitively priced and very efficient in the amount if lessons needed to pass. Highly recommended.

If there's ever an instructor who makes manoeuvers as simple as they can be, it's Taruq from Drivetime. I felt so relaxed, safe and at ease when driving with Drivetime. He instils confidence in you when you think you don't have any. I never knew anything about driving but on the first day, I drove home simply because Taruq gave me the confidence and boost straight away. Not only are his lessons extremely informative, he's a barrel of laughs too. The best way to feel relaxed is to be yourself and feel right at home and Taruq from Drivetime does that. I would highly recommend uncle Taruq to anyone. He is not only a good instructor with a really excellent teaching style that sticks in your head, but has a lot of banter and makes lessons fun.

The best driving instructor I have had, and I had a few others who just wasted my time and would make me drive around without teaching me anything which was just wasting my money on extra lessons as I was getting nowhere. But with Drivetime my lessons were never a waste, I was never driving around pointlessly like before and he made me pass within a few months, love how he takes you on mini tests to see where you need to improve, overall great instructor and I always will recommend to everyone 🙂

It was like I was having lessons from a mate

I first tried to book lessons with Taruq over a year ago but he was very busy at the time. I booked lessons with another instructor and learnt nothing from him. I then called Taruq again and he was now available so I booked lessons with him. He had to start me with the basics as I had not been taught how to steer properly or how to use my clutch correctly. I passed my driving test first time within 9 months. I have recommended him to lots of my friends and they have all passed with him as well!!!

I spent 2 whole years having lessons with another instructor and was not improving at all. My sister in law recommended Taruq. I passed my test within 7 months.

I was ready to give up on driving. I didn't enjoy my lessons and I was making no progress. Then my best friend recommended her uncle to me and I passed my driving test within 6 months! I cannot recommend him enough.

I failed my first driving test with 7 serious faults. Taruq was a friend of mine but he worked in Birmingham and I lived in Walsall. I rang him after failing my first test and told him I was willing to travel to Birmingham for my lessons. My main issue was my poor steering which had a knock on effect on other aspects of my driving, hence my seven serious faults and my very low confidence. Taruq was able to sort out my steering issues within 30 minutes and I passed my next test comfortably!

My first instructor used to drive me from my house at the beginning of my lesson and then drive me back to my house at the end. I actually only drove for perhaps 40 minutes of my hour lesson. She did this for my first 12 lessons and I was making no progress at all. My auntie recommended Taruq and I was driving for the full hour immediately and passed my test within 6 months. My sister has also passed with him first time and I have now recommended Taruq to two of my other aunties.

My previous instructor told me that I would need to have lessons for another 6 months before I could apply for my test. I booked one lesson with Taruq and he asked me to book my test straight away. I asked him if he was sure because of my previous instructors comments and he said I was being taken for a 'ride' by that instructor as I was ready. I applied straight away and passed within 5 weeks!
